Drennan Whyte is the alias of songwriter Max Birbaum. Spurred by the likes of Interpol, The Strokes and The War on Drugs, as well as the legendary The Chameleons, The Sound or Roky Erickson, Drennan Whyte paints tapestries of reflection, augmented by ethereal guitar melodies and Birbaum’s pure, impassioned vocal delivery. Birbaum is joined by drummer Jon Apiarist on his recordings.
